Fashion is a form of self expression that we value and we create everything with a personalized touch. JS Designs is a business that sells creative fashions such as embroidered satin bonnets, satin pillowcases, headbands and custom clothing. Each item is handcrafted with individual attention on each customer's order. We are a proud Black-owned business and all items are handmade and crafted with care.

Meet the Owner 

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by way of Trinidad and Tobago, Jamilia has always held an appreciation for bold designs and bright colors. As a self taught designer and seamstress, Jamilia started JS Designs with a desire to create custom items and bring visions to life. What started as a hobby transformed into a business through word of mouth from enthused customers who appreciated their personalized gifts. In the midst of the pandemic and graduate school, JS Designs emerged as an outlet for creativity and innovation.  Jamilia is fueled by the support of family, friends, and customers who eagerly share referrals and express happiness with the quality and craftsmanship exhibited by JS Designs.
